Mike Traynor

Mike trained as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 and moved to Torbay Hospital. He worked on many wards in many settings before becoming a Senior Physio in Pain Management and several other roles to do with Falls, Balance, Exercise Groups, Neuro Rehab and more. Later he went into Private Practice and worked at the Exeter MS Centre for 20yrs as the main physio. Since 2001 Mike trained in western acupuncture and went on many courses studying Bowen Technique, Zero Balancing, Upledger CST, along with many more complementary approaches including Breathwork and Energy work particularly in Higher Brain Living where he trained in Chicago. He did The Reconnection training in Paris and was lucky enough to meet Leonard Orr of Rebirthing in the New Age in Glastonbury and do some of his breathwork. Later in 2006/7 he went to Ireland to do two 6 day workshops with Dr Stan Grof himself and then Tav Sparks. It this experience which has led Mike to occassionally share his experience of Breathwork and do short breathwork events focusing mainly on Stan Grofs breathwork.
