Miranda Peyton Jones

Miranda Peyton Jones is a freelance animator and university lecturer at Kingston School of Art. Her work is characterised by a playful, sensitive approach where the interplay of narrative and material takes centre stage. As a storyteller, she predominantly uses analog and traditional methods of creating animation. Valuing the tactility and craft in the outcomes she produces.

She is passionate about teaching, making animation more accessible and fostering safe and fun spaces for creative exploration.
