Pentland Hills Regional Park
The Pentland Hills Regional Park covers a large swathe of land heading south-west from Edinburgh's outskirts. The area is used for farming sheep and cattle, sport-shooting and recreational use. The Regional Park, funded by three local authorities, liaise between landowners and recreational users, enabling safe access throughout the area.
We also run a timetable of events, ranging from biodiversity surveys (mostly free), to guided walks, to classes in navigation and wreath-making.
