For over 50 years, Pontefract Civic Society has worked to make Pontefract a better place to live, work and visit, for everyone.

Our Vision

We believe in a bright future for Pontefract as a thriving market town which engages its community and visitors through regular events, a diverse retail offering and unique experiences.

Delivering Change

By working closely with schools, businesses and volunteers, we hope to achieve our aims by delivering projects which will benefit those that visit, live and work in the town.
