QUAL Research Community of Practice

The Centre for Qualitative Research at the University of Bath is setting up a Community of Practice (CoP) for doctoral researchers engaging or interested in qualitative research. This CoP is one of the Centre’s various ongoing efforts to create spaces of learning, sharing and supporting qualitative research at the University. A primarily student-led and student-run space, this CoP aims to be a space where doctoral researchers can come together to share their learnings, ask their questions and navigate the often complex, diverse and lonely space of doing qualitative research. This can take the form of a range of different activities. We could have seminars, collective support groups, resource sharing platforms, question cafes, reading groups and a lot else that we need and can design. The CoP is anything and everything that we as PGRs at Bath need and want to be able to successfully carry out our research. This Community of Practice welcomes doctoral researchers at all stages of their journey.
