Queerwell

Queerwell is the national community mental health and wellbeing charity for lgbtq+ people.

We champion positive mental health within LGBTQ+ communities by delivering innovative, prevention-focused mental health and wellbeing support—free or at low-cost. We are committed to prioritising those most in need, with the fewest resources, and those who face discrimination on many levels.

We provide

Therapy: individual and group work offered online and in-person which is affordable and accessible to those most in need, and available at a sliding rate of fees for those who can afford counselling. Delivered by qualified, accredited and experience Psychotherapists.

The Learning Space 1/2 to full day sessions, using strength-based models of learning, to encourage wellbeing, building resilience, and supporting good mental health. Delivered in LGBTQ+/friendly spaces. Workshops will offer people the skills and techniques needed to build into their everyday life and sustain and improve their position. Delivered by Psychologists and experienced workshop facilitators.

PlayShops: activity centred space with a focus on mindfulness and building a sense of belonging through storytelling, drama workshops, Pet therapy, Play therapy through gaming, Art and craft therapies and laughter therapy.
