School of Sufi Teaching

The School of Sufi Teaching provides initiation and guidance to those who are interested in following the Sufi path. Offering free instruction in the teachings in the traditions and practices of five Sufi Orders – the Naqshbandi, Mujaddidi, Chishti, Qadiri and Shadhili – with special emphasis on the silent Mujaddidi order. The technique of the School consists of a special form of meditation (muraqaba), which results in an intuitive insight that enables an understanding of the truths about life and the universe, whilst developing one’s character. The School strives to understand the essential nature of humans, the universe, and humanity’s relation to it in a way relevant to the contemporary world. This understanding will help find solutions to the challenges of the individual and collective life of humanity.

The policy and creed of the School is synonymous with the creed of “peace with all.” Any conflict with any religion or creed is totally excluded from our aims and policy, but for the implementation of its objectives, the School does recommend a specific program of practical exercises.
