Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again
Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again is a National Library of Ireland exhibition about the life and work of Seamus Heaney, housed in the Bank of Ireland Cultural and Heritage Centre, Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2. It is free to visit and is open Monday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm (last admission at 3.30pm).
Seamus Heaney was one of Ireland's most loved poets and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. The exhibition draws on the National Library of Ireland's extensive archive of Heaney documents and features original manuscripts as well as diary entries and to-do lists. Listen Now Again brings visitors on a multi-sensory, immersive journey through the poet's life in writing, offering a glimpse into his creative process.
All of our events are free, and we love to host a range of talks, workshops, readings and kids events to celebrate Heaney's wonderful poetry. We look forward to welcoming you!
