Spectrum Socials CIC
At Spectrum Socials we provide structured social events led by therapists and support workers, for autistic children and their families. We're a nonprofit with a mission to help autistic children form friendships and develop social skills in a natural, fun, low-pressure environment. By fostering shared experiences, we empower children and families to build lasting connections, increase confidence, and feel part of a welcoming community.
We believe that meaningful social connections are essential for mental health and well-being. We want to increase opportunities for children with autism to have inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable social experiences, helping to reduce social isolation and improve quality of life.
Through our work, we aim to:
- Support social development in autistic children through shared, enjoyable experiences.
- Provide a community where parents can connect, share experiences, and feel supported.
- Promote mental well-being by reducing isolation and increasing opportunities for positive social interactions.
- Raise awareness about the importance of accessible, inclusive social opportunities for neurodivergent individuals.
- Arrange therapeutic social groups, family days out, with peer-matching and trained support staff.
