UMIP, a division of The University of Manchester I3 Ltd, is a catalyst for innovation, responsible for Intellectual Property (IP), commercialisation and technology transfer of next-generation technologies developed by The University of Manchester’s word-class research base.

UMIP’s purpose is to work with academics at The University of Manchester to turn their innovative ideas into commercial reality. In doing this they help to boost research and development, stimulate the economy and create more jobs.
