Transition Edinburgh South

Transition Edinburgh South is a community-led organisation based in Gracemount, Edinburgh, supporting local people to take practical climate action where they live. For nearly 15 years we’ve been growing food, skills, confidence and connection through our community garden, local partnerships, workshops and shared learning.

We focus on regeneration, of soil, biodiversity, relationships, and community power. Our work is rooted in place, experimentation, and long-term resilience. We believe change is most alive when everyone can take part.

Through hands-on growing, creative collaboration, and accessible learning, we help people build knowledge, share skills, explore ecological principles, and co-create a future where all life in our neighbourhood can thrive.
