University of Exeter: The Future is Green project

The Future is Green is a collaborative research project that delivers skills development courses and programmes to individuals across Cornwall and The Isles of Scilly. The project aim is to support the development of skills needed for the future green economy, providing training for individuals to access and progress within high-quality, well-paid jobs.

The £2.2m project is led by The Cornwall College Group in collaboration with eight highly experienced delivery partners, including the University of Exeter. The project runs from January 2024 to March 2025.

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by the Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
