Waking Up The Body is the home of Yal (He/Him), a highly experienced Intimate Events Facilitator, Educator, Hands-On Intimacy Touchworker, Sex and Intimacy Coach, and Pleasure Activist, who has guided many hundreds of individuals worldwide on journeys of self-discovery and pleasure.
Yal has trained extensively with some the best practitioners in the fields of Consent, Boundaries, Trauma-Informed Practice, and Intimate Bodywork. Training includes, and not limited to, The School of Consent (Betty Martin and The Wheel of Consent) and Urban Tantra professional training with Barbara Carrellas.
Nearly a decade ago Yal began hosting The Liquid Love Experience, alternative sex parties, and other transformative sensuality and sexuality events, earning high praise for crafting unforgettable intimacy experiences for guests. Using a unique blend of play, fun, safety, silliness, and empowerment, Yal guides people into listening to their boundaries and desires. He has travelled internationally, hosting beautiful intimacy events in many different cities and countries, including hosting the very first Liquid Love events in Zurich, London, Paris, Riga, Tallinn, Manchester, Bristol, Lyon, Tokyo, Cluj, and more cities to come.
In 2024 Yal began hosting live online guided practices of The 3-Minute Game, and Waking Up The Hands, with great success:
