Wales Coast Path Walking Festival 2019

The Wales Coast Path Walking Festival supported by Ramblers Cymru celebrates seven years since the launch of the Wales Coast Path. From 4 - 19 May 2019 there will be coastal walks on offer for all ages to suit all levels of fitness, in north, west and south Wales.

2019 is the Visit Wales ‘Year of Discovery’ and Ramblers groups across Wales, along with Keep Wales Tidy and other walking organisations, will bring the coast path to life and surprise you with some unique discoveries from wildlife to industrial heritage to ancient history and even edible seaweed.

There will be multiple  walks at these locations on the following dates:

> 4 May at the Great Orme, Llandudno
> 5, 7, 10 May at Ynys Mon / Anglesey
> 6 May - Porthmadog, Gwynedd 
> 11 May - Cwmtydu, Ceredigion 
> 12 May - Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire 
> 18 May - Burry Port, Carmarthenshire 
> 19 May - Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan

This project has received funding via the Regional Tourism Engagement Fund (RTEF) supported through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Welsh Government, the Fund to improve the visitor experience and create stronger destinations by working together.
