Wild Cultures

I discovered the power of fermented foods and good gut health as a result of my own health journey. Being raised in the 1980's I was given antibiotics for every little cough and sniffle. As a result I suffered from an array of allergies, asthma, gut issues and acne (which I was given more antibiotics for!). By the time I reached my 20’s my health was a bit of a mess.

I spent the last 15 years healing my gut and educating myself In nutrition. I'm now a mother and making sure my family are getting the best start to a strong healthy immune system is super important.

Of all of the things I've tried, the most powerful results have come from the consumption of a diet rich in probiotic rich fermented foods such as Kefir, Kombucha, Kimchi and Sauerkraut (to name but a few!). The best thing about these powerful foods and drinks is that they are super easy to make and can also taste delicious. This is really important for me as what is the point of eating something that doesn't taste good?

I created these workshops to share my knowledge and experiences with others in the hope that it might help on their own health journey. I truly believe that our bodies want to heal themselves and that we just need to create the right environment for them to do so.
