What do Dukes Hotel, London Shell Co and Western Morning News think it takes to win the attention of customers?
Debrah Dhugga, managing director of  Dukes Hotel, winner of many awards, including World Travel Awards – England’s Leading Hotel 2015, joins our panel to give insight into why Dukes is so popular with reviewers, critics, customers and staff alike.
Martin Hesp, editor-at-large at Western Morning News, has stayed in hundreds of hotels in a travel writing career spanning over 30 years. He joins us to talk about intelligent innovations he has seen and why they don’t need to be groundbreaking – just thoughtful.
Leah Lobek, co-founder of London Shell Co, a floating seafood restaurant loved by critics and reviewers, and named in the Telegraph’s Favourite Restaurants in London 2018, will give clear insight into making the most of what you’ve got to create a unique and compelling offer.
The trio will share their practical and actionable tips and tricks to improve hospitality operations ahead of the high season.
Event guests will also have the opportunity to sample the delights of a Nancarrow Farm “feast” event – featuring a menu with ingredients sourced in a true farm to table way.
The interactive event has been designed so that guests can take inspiration from the panel of hospitality experts, access best tips submitted throughout the Hospitality Hacks Cornwall Awards programme and take away a plan of actions based on implementing fresh ideas into their own businesses with the help of an accountability buddy.
The event is free to attend and should get you thinking about the best ways to improve your hospitality firm ahead of the peak season.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be aged 16 or older.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Please note that there is no parking available at Nancarrow Farm. Be the Business has partnered with local firms to provide transportation services from Padstow, Newquay, Falmouth and St Ives – these will provide a ride to and from the event for 15 passengers each.
There is also an ongoing shuttle service available from Truro Football Club.
What should I do with my car?
Parking is available at Truro Football Club for £1 + Eventbrite fee, payable when reserving your space on the shuttle. Those using the local services will need to arrange a ride to and from the collection and drop off point.
