FRIDAY 03/11/23: Creative Wellbeing Art Studio

Inside Out Community is a thriving community of artists, volunteers and members who use art and creativity as a way of maintaining their mental health and emotional wellbeing.We run a range of well-being artistic workshops for adults with emotional and mental health needs. The programme involves visual arts, music, creative writing, dance and movement, and is delivered by professional artists with a sensitivity to mental and emotional health challenges.Our groups are open to people recovering from mental ill health; experiencing a crisis of wellbeing; or who would like to access the healing powers of creativity to maintain positive mental and emotional wellbeing.All workshops are FREE and open to any participants without a prior referral. In a safe, non-judgemental environment, participants engage in an artistic activity and receive beneficial effects of therapeutic arts.Arts workshops run in Ipswich and the surrounding area. We are committed to promoting the benefits of arts for mental health and emotional wellbeing in the wider population.

Creative Wellbeing Art Studio

Our Creative Wellbeing Art Studio is a new programme for Autumn 2023. Open to anyone 18+, the workshops run on Wednesdays (2pm - 4pm) and Fridays (11am - 1pm). Have freedom to work on your own projects or take part in planned themed activities.

Our Creative Wellbeing Art Studio is a new programme starting in Autumn 2023. These studios will be overseen by Inside Out Community Programme Leaders, Allan Williams and Karen Densham and take place at Eastern Angles Centre. The Creative Wellbeing Art Studio will enable members to focus on their own independent creativity for wellbeing practice, bringing either their own theme for exploration or using the weekly 'themed' activity outlined by the Programme Leaders. In addition to this, we will have a number of visiting artists throughout the term who will offer members an opportunity to work in a variety of different mediums. As always, workshops are FREE to attend with a suggested donation of £4 per session. All materials will be provided.T﻿his Week's Theme: Saints and Souls
