Our strong community helps give parents and carers the knowledge needed to help them better support the children they look after.We provide clear, relevant information about autism to parents and carers. By doing so, we hope to improve the futures and outcomes of autistic children. We use this website, ourFacebook pageandemailto signpost information about local and national services and support. As much as possible, we share the voices of autistic adults because we know they are best placed to teach us about our children.

An online information session for parents and carers of autistic children (any age / no diagnosis required)

An information session looking at demand avoidance.This session will include:<ul><li>What demand avoidance is</li><li>Demand avoidance &amp; Autism</li><li>Understanding behaviour and supportive strategies</li><li>Words and phrases to use &amp; avoid</li></ul>This is an online event and will be held using Zoom. The course will be run by Amy Phipps, an autism and neurodiversity trainer and consultant. Amy has worked with autistic adults and children for over 25 years and has two autistic children herself.This is for parents and carers living in Bristol, South Glos or North Somerset. This group is made possible thanks to funding from the NHS Bristol, North Somerset &amp; South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board.
