EchoGuide Theatre Launch
EchoGuide Theatre launches 16 May! Live demo, support kits, early access, and a new tool for confident, accessible rehearsal.
✨ What You'll Experience
The Story Behind the Tool Hear how EchoGuide Theatre grew from real classroom challenges, rehearsal frustrations, and a founder who built it while performing, parenting, working full-time, and completing a Senior Leadership Apprenticeship at Master's level. This tool was built from the inside out — by someone who lives the reality it solves.

- Real-time highlighting
- Vocal, movement, and emotional cueing
- Colour-coded performance heatmaps
- Accessibility-first design for mixed-ability casts
- Multi-language options
- Safeguarding-first, research-backed framework throughout
Starter Kit (Free for All Attendees) Every guest receives:
- A hands-on demo of EchoGuide
- Purple pen, lanyard and stickers

Community & Conversation Connect with teachers, directors, and theatre practitioners who are shaping the future of accessible, emotionally intelligent rehearsal. This is a networking event as much as a celebration — bring your questions, your experiences, and your colleagues.

- Get hands-on with safeguarding-first, emotionally intelligent rehearsal support
- Meet the founder and influence what EchoGuide Theatre becomes next
- Connect with like-minded practitioners in a relaxed, welcoming space
- Leave with practical tools you can use immediately — in your next rehearsal
- Be part of a meaningful moment in an independent founder's journey
On the Day?
So here's what I'm thinking for you, if you're local or can make the trip: why not make a day of it? Book a table for lunch at the CSONS restaurant in the Pavilion, take a little time to enjoy the views over Castle Green and the Wye, and then come and join us from 1:30pm for a conversation about EchoGuide Theatre and what it means to help young people find something unshakable in themselves when they step into performance.
Parking There is on-street parking on Castle Street; please be mindful of paying at the meter. If you'd rather not chance the limited spaces, the Halo Leisure Pool car park is a lovely alternative - but there is still a payment needed - and gives you a short walk back over Victoria Bridge to the Pavilion.
What to bring A script you'd like to try, if you have one; a monologue, a poem, a set text, or anything that means something to you. If you'd rather not bring your own, we'll have examples ready for you to drop straight into the tool.
A phone, tablet, or laptop, if you'd like to use EchoGuide Theatre yourself during the afternoon.
The Stay & Play hour The final hour is yours. We'll help you get logged in, set up your first script, and see how the tool actually works in your hands. No pressure to stay if you can't, but if you can, this is the part most people tell us they'll remember.
📋 CPD Study Beyond English is working towards formal CPD accreditation. This event is not yet CPD-accredited, but all participants will receive a certificate of attendance, a clear outline of learning outcomes, evidence of hours completed, and guidance on logging this with their professional body or CPD tracker.
Now being held out of school hours, we hope to welcome more teachers and those working in schools who want to support their students with their confidence and clarity when speaking aloud.
🌟 Already tried EchoGuide Theatre? We'd love your review on Trustpilot. Your feedback shapes everything we build next.
