Newtown Walking Festival 2026

Join us at Newtown Walking Festival in Beautiful Mid Wales from June 5th to 7th 2026.
We offer a range of led walks of varying lengths and difficulty in the wonderful hills around Newtown, Powys!

<p>This route follows the Severn Way to the lake and returns via Penshwa Lane and Ffrydd Farm. It includes lovely views over Newtown and the surrounding hills to the north.  There is a mixture of road and off road walking.</p>

<p>Essential information for all walks:</p><ul><li>Paid parking is available in Back Lane car park.</li><li>Walkers should check in at the hub fifteen minutes before their walk is due to leave.</li><li>Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Some sections of the routes may be overgrown and have nettles and brambles, so consider sleeve and trouser length for your own comfort.</li><li>Please bring water, snacks and food as appropriate for the length of the walk.</li><li>Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult with parental responsibility and be capable of the distance, pace and duration of the walk.</li><li>Sorry no dogs allowed on Festival walks.</li></ul>
