Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the delicious world of focaccia at our fun and interactive workshop!

Hi everyone

This is Giovanni : an italian baker, baking teacher and bread ambassador for Real Bread Campaign: an independent charity based in UK, which research and share methods to produce better Bread for the community and the planet

I will run a focaccia making workshop suitable for all abilities, it will be an unique event that will be divided into two parts : the first part will be a demonstration in which while the participants will relax drinking a hot drink, I will show how to make from scratch 2 authentic focaccia loaves from 2 regions of Italy :

  • PARIGINA FOCACCIA: tomato sauce , ham and mozzarella between a base prepared with the classic dough for focaccia and a covering of crumbly and golden Puff Pastry
  • Chichi ripieno : stuffed focaccia with tuna, artichokes, olives, capers, and peppers

Then finally you will wear an apron and knead from scratch 2 other types of focaccia from other regions of Italy :

• Focaccia di bari : thin and crunchy, topped with cherry tomatoes, olives, Oregano, and plenty of oil.

Tuscany Focaccia with sugar, grapes and rosemary

Hot drinks refreshments and recipes will be included.
