Improvising Shakespeare: Getting Texty With It (with Rebecca MacMillan)
Event Information
About this Event
Use Shakespeare's own words as an inspirational springboard to create improvised insults, compliments, momentous monologues, witty dialogue, poignant poetry and more.
Led by Impromptu Shakespeare's Rebecca MacMillan you will explore different techniques to move fluidly from the 'real thing' to improvisation and back again, taking what most captures our hearts and imaginations and running with it. Rebecca has extensive experience of genre improvisation, and has made particular study of the language of Shakespeare's sonnets.
Part of a series of stand-alone online workshops run by members of Impromptu Shakespeare. Join us as we delve into the glorious details of improvising the Bard! Pick a workshop that takes your fancy, or come to them all and geek out!
