Join Sony United Kingdom for an Intermediate Technical Training session focused on Sony Cinema Line and Alpha cameras, hosted at the Sony Penthouse inside W London, in the heart of Soho.

Led by Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Eric Peng, this session is designed for creators who want a clearer understanding of video formats, settings, and technical workflows. Eric will break down key concepts such as Sony codecs, white balance, Cine EI, base ISO, and audio options — helping you make more informed decisions when setting up and shooting video.

This is a technical, detail-focused session aimed at building confidence and consistency when working with Sony’s video systems.

Who can attend

This event series is open to all ages.
Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
All participants must hold a valid ticket.

• Your own camera (any brand welcome)
• Two high-capacity, high-speed SD cards (recommended: 128GB, V30 or higher)
• Laptop, notebook, and pen (recommended)
• Water bottle and a small snack

Arrival information

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session start time.
Due to the tightly scheduled programme, late arrivals may not be accommodated and tickets may be forfeited.

W London Hotel arrival instructions:
Take the lift to Level 1 Reception and wait for a Sony or W London team member, who will escort you to the Penthouse at the start of your session.
