About this event

  • 2 days 7 hours

It’s said that being a Christian comes down to being with Jesus, becoming like him, and doing what he did.

Or rather, doing what he would do if he were you.

That last bit can be both exciting and intimidating. It means the Lord of the universe wants to work in and through us to impact the people and places around us. But what does that actually mean? How would Jesus live if he were you or me, with our work pressures, family situations, friendship dramas, time, talents, and opportunities?

In short, if you’ve ever asked what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus in your particular time and place, Reimagine is for you.

This practical, in-depth course will help you see your everyday life through God’s eyes, recognising where he’s already at work. And it’ll equip you to make a difference for him, living as salt and light in the complex and wonderful world that God loves.

Join the LICC team in London this June to learn to:

  • Listen to the pressures, hopes, and desires of the people you encounter everyday, and appreciate the wider cultural dynamics shaping your context
  • Imagine what God might want to do in the places you find yourself
  • Create a kingdom-orientated way of living in the organisations you’re in, the conversations you have, and alongside the people you’re with, sustained over the long term by spiritual practices
  • Communicate the good news of the gospel in a way that’s attractive and meaningful to those around you

‘Time dedicated to re-thinking my workplace as my ministry, digging deep into Scripture to explore how God has always been present in our frontlines throughout the ages. Time to worship, to share, to pray, and to be re-commissioned. Reimagine is for everyone. Join in!’ – Reimagine delegate

The programme

Reimagine is a three-day in-person course hosted at LICC’s central London HQ. Sessions run 10am–5pm each day, with optional evening activities.

The programme combines inspiring teaching, space for reflection, and trips around central London to help you reflect on and apply what you’re learning. The programme includes sessions on:

  • The cultural forces shaping the UK today
  • Looking at life through the lens of Scripture
  • Diagnosing and responding to the culture in your own context
  • Developing spiritual practices to sustain counter-cultural living
  • Practical exercises around shopping and storytelling
  • And so much more!

Who’s it for?

The Reimagine Course is for anyone who wants to join in with God’s purposes where they already are, in the contexts where God has placed them – that could be your workplace, university, neighbourhood, friendship group, or anywhere else.

Organized by

All we do is shaped by the challenges and opportunities of the people we seek to serve: Christians out in God’s world – in workplaces and all places; church leaders and their teams; women and men in their first decade after school or uni. And the many, many people in all kinds of churches who want to make a difference for Christ in all of their lives.

So we’re dedicated to developing the biblical wisdom, the cultural insights, the stories, and the practical ideas that help people live out God’s living word creatively, show and share his good news confidently, and make a positive contribution to the places they live, work, and play.
