Art with Anna M

@art_with_anna_m is the creative persona of Anna Moszynska, a Shrewsbury based artist, who offers art making and creative experiences to adults and children in Shropshire.

Her Drink’n’Draw events at Glou Glou wine bar in Shrewsbury are regularly sold out, and were featured in the Guardian as part of their focus on all the creativity in Shrewsbury these days! Her 9 days of Art and Craft workshops at the Flaxmill Maltings in October 2022 made it into the Guardian’s top ten family experiences for that half term!

She has run art clubs in three Shrewsbury primary schools, works as a creative practitioner at The Hive Art Centre, Shrewsbury and holds individual and group art workshops at community and hospitality venues, as well as in her studio annex at home in Shrewsbury. She also offers creative staff development & well-being events to corporate clients, most notably BT Open Reach, in Birmingham.

She trained as a fine artist in Cheltenham and London, specialising in Painting and drawing, and currently exhibits her mixed media artwork locally. She has almost 30 years’ experience of Art teaching and leadership in secondary schools both in Shropshire and London and gets her buzz from seeing the creativity of others! Before teaching, she created and led Tile Decorating workshops at Ironbridge Gorge Museum, and set up their visitor workshop programme at 3 museum sites, some of which were residential.

Anna has extensive experience of fun Art projects and believes that Art is for everyone, and is about creative ideas and fun, not skills and showmanship! Anna thrives on making art thematic, relating it to real lives, to give everyone the joy of creativity!!
