Talk title: Embedded Analog Intelligence for Robotics

About the speaker: Matthieu Chevrier is a system and application manager at Texas Instruments, whose team solves customer problems on a worldwide basis. He has been leading efforts at TI on sensors for robotics since 2009 and extending to control aspects since 2016. He makes things happen by combining business, leadership and innovation skills to push the boundaries and stay on top of the latest industry trends. He received his Engineering degree in from the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Supélec), France, in 1999and holds patents in a broad range of low power sensing topics.

About the speaker: Chris has worked at Arm for over 18 years, currently as Director of Embedded Solutions in the Embedded& Automotive group. Before that, he spent 18 months in the Enterprise Marketing team, responsible for the technical content of Arm’s conferences, includingTechCon and the Annual Partner Meeting. For 15 years, he was responsible for forArm’s customer training activity – delivering over 200 training courses every year to Arm’s customers and end users all over the world. He also managed Arm’sActive Assist onsite services and the Arm Approved partner program.

Talk title: Moving from near real-time to real-time stream processing

About the speaker: Greg is a software developer at SWIM.AI's recently opened office in Cambridge, UK. Prior to working at SWIM.AI he worked for10 years in large scale, scientific data processing, having worked on the European Space Agency Gaia mission and the Galileo satellite navigation system. He holds an MSc in Mathematical Logic from the University of Manchester and has an interest in the practical application of functional programming techniques.
